Organic Cotton Turkish Pestemal Towel, 'Baklava" in Salmon

Pestemals are traditional lightweight towels used both to dry off and as a body wrap in the Turkish Hamam public bath houses. Most commonly woven of cotton, the ones in my collection are made on old-style shuttle looms of 100% organic cotton sourced from South and Southeastern Turkey. Pestemals will soften and become more absorbent with each wash. Their light weight allows them to dry quickly, making them ideal for both home and travel. The colors are achieved using vegetable dyes.
